About
The Landscape Sector Association (PEYSED) was founded on 7 August 2026 and is headquartered in İzmir. It brings together every stakeholder of the landscape architecture discipline under one roof.
Purpose
The Association was founded to develop coordination and cooperation among all sectors and stakeholders operating within the discipline of landscape architecture, to establish a professional solidarity network, to raise quality in line with national and international standards within an ethical framework, to accredit sectoral activities, to organise and certify vocational, scientific and educational activities, and to produce projects and multifaceted added value at national and international scale.

Fields of Work
Accrediting firms, offices and nurseries with the PEYSED Accreditation Certificate; issuing PEYSED Compliance Certificates; preparing technical specifications as a sectoral reference; making PEYSED standards a reference point in public procurement.
Certified training programmes under PEYSED Academy for technical staff, gardeners and site supervisors; "Mastery and Competence" courses; seminars, conferences, congresses, symposia and panels.
Standards-compliant laboratory and testing services for landscape materials, structures, furniture and fittings; quality and performance measurement in projects and implementations.
Reducing unfair competition, protecting professional labour, defending ethical competition conditions; preparing and implementing the PEYSED Ethics Directive.
Climate change adaptation, carbon accounting and management, carbon-neutrality targets, biodiversity conservation; agroforestry, urban agriculture and carbon farming under the European Green Deal; promoting domestic plant production.
Integrating AI and smart landscape applications (irrigation, lighting, plant production and protection); preparing projects with TÜBİTAK, Development Agencies and EU funding.
Membership of associations abroad; joint studies; fairs, exhibitions and workshops; collective representation through the "PEYSED Area".
Supporting students in internships, entrepreneurship and professional employment within the landscape sector.
Submitting sectoral positions in legislative processes; representing the sector before government, local administrations and public institutions.
